Happy Father's Day
Father's Day and the Cambell family headed put to the links to get some fresh air. Camryn, myself, my 87 year old Dad, Ivan, my borhter Vern and his 13 year old son Aidan headed out to Inwood to do 9 holes. Inwood is a very family friendly course and Camryn and Aidan love to whack balls. Gary wanted to go drag racing so he headed to Gimli Dragways with his borther Randy and Camryn and I were going to meet up with him later after golf.
The Alpha Sherpa was the backpack of choice and is perfect for a golf outing. We had a cart and filled it with the usual camera, wallet, keys (love that key retreiver!), first aid kit, mosquitoe repellent, sunscreen, water and more water, ice packs and a few beers and snacks. Wipes and kleenex were also in the sherpa.
The calibre of golf was definitely not on par with the US Open, but golf is a great family sport for all ages!
